- What is a cooperative school?
This concept is designed for families that want the benefits of home schooling, while drawing from the educational resources of an established school. The parents and the teachers partner together to ensure the student is receiving the best education.
- What grades are covered in your school?
We enroll students K4 through 12th grade.
- What denominational affiliate are you with?
We are a non-denominational institution. We have a statement of faith (see our brochure) that all families must agree and live by.
- Is your school accredited?
We are members of TANAS (Tennessee Association of Non-public Academic Schools) and as such approved by the Tennessee Department of Education.
- How do I know what to teach my child?
Our qualified teachers set up the lesson plans for you. You will follow their instructions on your home study days (Monday and Friday).
- What are the teacher qualifications?
Our teachers are required to have at least a four year college degree.
- Do you offer sports or extra-curricular activities?
We do offer sports in conjunction with Knoxville Christian School for grades 6-12, and CCA has it's own cross-country team. Worship Arts and media/computer classes are incorporated into the daily schedules. CCA also offers additiional after school electives that are offerred at different times of the year, and may change yearly.
