This program is available through the Knoxville Track Club. It is for elementary (3rd-5th grade) and middle school students. Fall 2010 will be our 3rd season running.

This program will work only if I have parents willing to help at the practices and meets.

On race day the race director, Marty Sonnenfeldt, will need 2 parents each week to help on the course/ finish line.
Expenses $42 ( $27 if you already have a uniform)
KTC fee is $15.00 covers all of the races
Uniforms $ 15 (running tank). I have not changed the shirt from last year.
End of season party and awards $12

Practice -Thursdays beginning 8/19 1:45-2:45
We will practice on the school grounds and surrounding neighborhood Wear appropriate shoes and attire
Bring plenty of water ---To get an extra run in it will be beneficial to run the group runs on Sundays beginning 9/5 (more info below)
 
Inclement Weather
We will run in the rain if the weather is not severe (heavy downpours, thunder/lightning).

Meets
Held every Tuesday starting September 7, 2010 and ending with the MC Championship Meet 10/12/10. Five meets total. Please allow for ample time to get to the meet site and for parking. If at all possible try to car pool so that we can keep parking problems to a minimum. Plan for meets to be over by 8:30 PM.

Race Day
*You are responsible for getting your child to and from the meets and practices.
*We will gather as a team, however, you are responsible for your child at the meets.
*The elementary races will start at 5:00. I would like everyone to arrive by 4:30 to get warmed up and stretched.
